Key partnership opportunities are available for:

501(c)3 Fiduciary Partner  A non-profit organization to act as Fiscal Agent/Sponsor to:

1. •Aid with reporting requirements and administrative tasks
   

2. •Provide accounting and strategic planning guidance
   

3. •Lend tax-exempt status to increase sponsorship by providing lilac sponsors with a tax deduction
   

Planting Partners  Environmentally-conscious group(s) to:

1. •Help coordinate volunteer component (citizens, businesses, volunteers, etc.) and implement planting projects at five Planting Events in two years
   

2. •Prepare planting areas to Mn/DOT specifications (if able, and if cities are not able to provide)
   

Supplier Partners Environmental/Landscape group(s) to:

1. •Help Campaign negotiate rates for planting materials
   

2. •Help Campaign find and negotiate rates for two-year Mn/DOT-approved maintenance contractor, funds raised from sponsored lilacs will pay for lilac maintenance
   

Five municipalities along Lilac Way including Robbinsdale, Crystal, Golden Valley, St. Louis Park and Edina to:

1. •Apply to Mn/DOT’s Community Roadside Landscaping Partnership Program for reimbursement of purchased lilacs and materials
   

2. •Cooperate with Campaign
   

3. •Prepare planting areas to Mn/DOT specifications (if possible)
   

Local businesses or individuals for funding and corporate sponsorship.
